Grammatica:
My most common mistakes on my compositions, quizzes and tests was not a lack of knowledge, but minor grammar mistakes such as articles and prepositions. I think this mainly comes from my first language, english. Due to the fact that in english, we rarely use articles, and if we do they are mostly all the same, I either forget to add articles to my writing in italian or forget the various types and combinations of italian articles. Additionally, prepositions in italian are a little different than they are in english. They also have forms that combine to make prepositions and articles into one word, which is very different from english. If I were to redo the semester, I would spend more time focusing on the differences in prepositions and articles ad their many forms and a little less time on content. It seemed the minor stuff got me more confused and lost me the most points, not the actual subject matter itself. However, I have learned a lot not only in italian, but how to better my study habits and routine for the rest of my college career.
